Music

I was browsing through my itunes playlist looking for songs haven't heard in a while and saw Boyz II Men and man i forgot how dope these guys were (now they rolling without the bass Michael).  So many good songs and of course can't forget about this one.  I think they coming out with another album around 09 and it better be that new new shit and none of those remakes of motown hits or something like that again.

Since i'm on the subject of music i'll explain my interest on music.  I was just talking to my cousin on AIM about me and Hip-Hop and said that i can't stand rappers who rap a certain way.  Even though they are some sick lyrics i cant get passed the way its sounding.  I'm not someone who looks at lyrics much unless i hear it enough and learn the words as it keeps playing.  So i don't go to lyric websites and look songs up.  I find music to be a leisure activity where i can just chill and listen.  I listen to everything and appreciate different types of music even Country, Opera, Acoustic Piano, etc.  If i had a top 3 of genres it would probably go like this..

1. R&B - I've always liked it.  Ever since i was a kid i would like singing songs like that and i just grew into it.  If i ever had the opportunity to become a Rapper or Singer it would definitely be a singer because its what i like to do (privately lol).  I'm not saying im a good one but its         just something i grew up doing.  I like something i could sing to more than something i can   rap to. Anyway,  I would just find R&B to be the ultimate chill genre.  It would probably explain why i like Jazz and Soul music so much like this artist.
2. Hip-Hop - I know it has its own chill vibe and i would listen to it more than R&B nowadays but it would have to go as my number 2 just for the fact that i like R&B more.  I also grew up listening to hip-hop and it also influenced things like style and id say also my personality.  I dunno how to explain it but its kinda like..u know how there's a difference between a urban hip-hop culture attitude and a rock culture attitude? Well i consider myself to have more of the urban attitude.  I dunno if you know what i mean but ill just leave it at that.
3. Rock - It wasn't something i would listen to back in the day but i grew to appreciate it more.   I listen to most types of Rock and there are some good bands out there.  Old and New. Without the classic rock artists there wouldn't be hip-hop.

I don't want to explain every detail about me and music since im lazy so thats pretty much a quick view of it.  I guess for me i pretty much like catchiness and beats than lyrics.  All in all i Love music and can't live without it!  Im just someone that doesn't listen to it the way other people do.  I know you all have your own interests in music and maybe criticisms on my interests and how i listen to music but hey im just being myself.  Like i said for me music is just a leisure activity.
